Victim Damien Lowe (left) was abducted on a street in Coventry at gunpoint and bundled into a van where the group of ten masked men kept him without food or water for 31 hours.
When his family failed to find the ransom his kidnappers demanded, the gang off his finger and left it under a brick on a garden wall for his panicked relatives to find. The kidnappers were sentenced at Leamington Justice Centre today. Mr Lowe, 26, described the ordeal as 'the most terrifying experience of my life' and said he doesn't know how he survived.
