The moment mother sobbed in court as she FORGAVE white man who shot her black son dead

Michael Dunn (bottom left in court on Friday) was found guilty in September of first-degree murder after gunning down Jordan Davis, 17, (bottom right) outside a gas station in 2012.
He killed the teenager, who was from Marietta, Georgia, when he fired 10 times into a car carrying four teenagers outside the gas station in Jacksonville. In an astonishing show of mercy, Davis' mother Lucia McBath (pictured in court left and right) said in a victim impact statement that she forgave her son's killer. In a 25-second statement, Dunn apologized for the first time but maintained he had thought he was protecting himself.
