He is one of dozens of doctors who earn huge sums outside their practice. An investigation has also found dozens of family doctors are taking time out from their NHS jobs to treat family patients. The revelations come after figures showed that one in six of all consultations last year - some 47 million - involved a wait of at least six weeks.
