Suarez beats Messi and Ronaldo



Luis Suarez has beaten Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to top the second annual BSports Power 50, which ranks the world's leading players according to sophisticated data analysis.

The Liverpool and Uruguay striker earned a BSports rating of 86.02, putting him ahead of Messi on 85.43,Zlatan Ibrahimovic on 84.91 and World Player of the Year Ronaldo on 84.59.
Gareth Bale is the leading British player on the list in 24th place, while Chelsea defender Gary Cahill and Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey were in 36th and 38th places respectively.
The Premier League provided 13 of the top 50, ranking it second behind Serie A with 14, while AtleticoMadrid, with eight, had the most players.
The BSports Power 50 ranks players according to their strengths in their respective positions and considers the context of opponent strength in each game throughout the season.
