Britain's official representative in Bali, Vice-Consul Alys Harahap, left, was allegedly caught kissing and cuddling British drugs baron Julian Ponder, pictured centre, in Kerobokan Prison.
Prison officers are said to have walked in as the diplomat, a mother-of-two who is married to an Indonesian, was locked in what appeared to be an 'intimate embrace' with 44-year-old Ponder, the alleged ringleader of a syndicate that smuggled cocaine into Bali. Ponder is the alleged mastermind behind the plot which led to British grandmother Lindsay Sandiford, pictured bottom right, being sentenced to death for operating as a drugs mule.
