A fire at a bridge construction site on Interstate 15 that connects Southern California to Las Vegas closed the road yesterday lunchtime but officials say it may open for the evening commute. The bridge in Hesperia continued to smolder Tuesday morning, but officials predicted northbound lanes of the artery northeast of Los Angeles could be reopened by this evening.Culled
