Patient punched by hospital security guard outside A&E

Police and hospital bosses at North Manchester General Hospital (inset) are investigating claims that patient Julie Mannion, 45, was knocked unconscious by a security guard.
Ms Mannion claims she was outside the A&E department having a cigarette on April 12 when a guard 'came up and punched me full in the face.' The man, who works for security company Mitie, has been suspended.
