Relatives of the 239 passengers on board Flight MH370 have heard ring tones when they try to call those who are missing, it has emerged.
The development deepens the mystery over how one of the world's most advanced planes could simply vanish. Authorities in Malaysia said today that the main search for any sign of the plane is now at least 200 miles from where the plane was last seen. They also disclosed that one of the two men travelling on stolen passports (centre left) has been identified as a 19-year-old Iranian asylum seeker. Police said they did not believe he was a terrorist, but have still to find the true identity of the other man.
