A senior Pentagon official was quoted today as saying there was 'an indication' the plane came down in the ocean. It has been almost six days since flight MH370, carrying 239 people from Kuala Lumpur Beijing, lost contact with ground control. In response to the new search location, U.S warship USS Kidd (bottom right) is reportedly being moved in to search the area. The scale of the search (left) now covers a huge area, as reports come in that the plane could have flown for as many as four hours from its last confirmed location (centre). Meanwhile hundreds gathered in Kuala Lumpur airport, where the aircraft took off, to offer prayers for their loved ones.
