Three explosives found in Tallaght

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of three viable explosive devices in Tallaght in Dublin last night.

They were discovered on a green in the Cushlawn area by a passerby who raised the alarm.
The Army Bomb Disposal Squad arrived on scene at around 8.30pm, and it was declared safe about an hour later.
A number of houses were evacuated and the devices were made safe without the need for a controlled explosion just before 10pm.
