Gardai have begun an investigation following the death of a man in Dublin last night.
The man, who was aged in his 60s, died at a property in Terenure.
The State Pathologist’s office has been alerted and the scene has been preserved pending a forensic examination.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the house.
It is understood that a group of people had gathered to watch the Ireland v Wales rugby match at a flat in Terenure.
An ambulance was called to the scene at about 5.45pm yesterday.
The man was taken to St James’s Hospital where he died later.
