After hitting retired council worker David Hutchinson (inset) in an unprovoked attack in Nelson, Lancashire, Lukas Karpavicius (pictured) turned to his friends, laughing, and said: ‘Look what I’ve done. It’s my first knockout.’ Judge Anthony Russell QC, sentencing, said Mr Hutchinson had the ‘misfortune’ of meeting the drunken Lithuanian national as he was making his way from a friend’s birthday party.
