Popstar Justin Bieber was in police custody today after being arrested for DRAG-RACING in a supercar 'following a drink and drugs bender'.
The singer told cops he had taken anti-depressants, drank a beer and was smoking marijuana all day, according to local reports.
Bieber was incoherent, had his hands in his pockets, was driving without a valid license and resisted arrest without violence, Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond Martinez told the Miami Herald.
The 19-year-old's entourage had reportedly used their cars to block traffic on Pine Tree Drive at 26th Street, a residential area, at 4:30am to create a drag strip for the young singer.
It's believed Bieber was driving a rented yellow super-car Lamborghini at the time with a female friend as a passenger.
In an unusual move, Miami Beach Police confirmed the arrest on Twitter.
"When the cars are going that fast, it takes awhile to catch up," said Martinez, whose officers heard the racing in the distance.
When he was stopped by police, Bieber unleashed a barrage of F-words, police said.
He will be transferred from the police station to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center where he will be able to be bailed out.
An insider says another vehicle was pulled over at the scene, a red Ferrari - which is believed to be the car Bieber was allegedly racing.
A source close to the situation reveals the driver - Khalil, a well-known rapper on Def Jam Records - was also arrested.
