Police Rescue Kidnapped Kogi State Commisioner

 Kogi state Commissioner of Lands and Housing, Mr Steven Mayaki was abducted by gunmen last Saturday on his farm land. He has now been rescued by men of the Nigerian Police, Kogi State division. 

The police spokesperson, Kogi state, Shola Adebayo, said in a statement in Lokoja that Mr. Maiyaki was rescued at about 2am this morning from the kidnappers’ hideout at Abobo village in Adavi Local Government area of the state.

He also said that, Mr. Maiyaki has since been reunited with his family.
