Andy Murray and his wife Kim are expecting their first child, it was confirmed tonight. The couple, who married in his home town of Dunblane, Scotland, in April, are said to be overjoyed.
It is understood the former Wimbledon champion has only just broken the news to family and friends. Sources said the couple decided to make their announcement to their families after 27-year-old Kim visited hospital for a 12-week scan. It is believed the baby is due in February. Murray's mother Judy, who appeared in Strictly Come Dancing last year, is said to be ecstatic, having admitted only a few weeks ago that she is dreaming of being a 'very active granny'.
