Couple Buys Beanie Baby For £10 Not Knowing It Actually Costs £62,500

A young couple, Leah Rogers, 20, and her boyfriend, Ryan Flanaghan, 22, were selling a range of toys at the boot sale in Bude, Cornwall, when they spotted the purple teddy at another seller's stall. Ryan who found it attractive bought it for £10 and later realized it is one of the 100 Beanie toys made around the world in December 1997 for the Princess of Wales Memorial Trust.

Now the couple intend to sell the beanie baby, just like one owner placed his own on Ebay with a starting bid of £20,000, with a customer now willing to pay £62,500.

Leah says they will also be putting it on Ebay and use the proceed to buy a home, so they can start off a new life. She says she is so excited because it is such a rare opportunity.
