Police searching for missing student Becky Watts, 16, find human remains
Police said this morning they believe the 16-year-old's body had been cut up, and although the remains discovered have not been identified, the student's family have been told. Detective Superintendent Mike Courtiour said police have also arrested four men and a woman on suspicion of assisting an offender.
A 28-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were arrested on Saturday on suspicion of Becky's kidnap. They were further arrested yesterday on suspicion of her murder and are still being questioned by police. Police were last night called to a property in Barton Court, Bristol, just a street away from where another home was extensively searched during the hunt for Becky, who vanished from her home a mile and a half away on February 19.
