The Bauchi state Police Command arrested a man who was dressed in female attire yesterday, January 2.
He identified the suspect as Matthew Asten, 25, who hails from Plateau state.
He said the suspect was arrested wearing women clothing and wig at the mobile round about along Jos road in Bauchi.
The suspect was said to have escaped death when an angry mob tried to lynch him due to the currently state of insecurity. He was however rescued by the police.
Mohammed confirms the suspect is still undergoing interrogation.
