It's a British invasion!

globes

It's one of the most glittering events on the Hollywood social calendar, but it was British starlets leading the way as the 72nd annual Golden Globes got underway at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.
Sienna Miller and Kate Beckinsale both dazzled in plunging floor-length gowns as they rocked the red carpet. Downton Abbey darling Joanne Froggatt - who took home the prize for Best Supporting Actress for a TV series - wowed in a strapless navy beaded creation and Rosamund Pike stunned in a daring peekaboo Vera Wang creation after giving birth to her second child just five weeks ago. George Clooney's lawyer wife Amal, Emily Blunt, Dame Helen Mirren and Keira Knightley - who is pregnant with her first child - were also part of the British invasion.
