Stewart James Greene has been charged with murder over the death of Alex Robinson in Lincoln on 23 December.
The 64-year-old appeared at Lincoln Crown Court for a preliminary hearing today and wore a grey jumper and jogging bottoms. No pleas were entered during the hearing and there was no application for bail. Greene was remanded in custody by Judge Michael Heath and will next appear for a plea and case management hearing at the same court on 24 April.
