Aminah Hart (left), from Melbourne, was 42 and single when she decided to give having children 'one last go', following the death of her two sons from a genetic disorder.
She thought long and hard about her options and decided to use an anonymous sperm donor to conceive. When her baby daughter Leila (top right) was born on 14 August 2012, weighing a 'big and healthy' 3.9 kilos, she felt 'relieved'. Aminah is half West Indian so her mother Helen was surprised when Leila was born with blonde hair and blue eyes and started searching online for the man who had donated the sperm donor out of curiosity. They tracked down farmer Scott Andersen and incredibly after bonding over their beautiful daughter he and Aminah fell in love. 'I remember saying to a girlfriend "I think I've got a bit of a crush on Leila's dad",' Aminah said.
