Oscar de la Renta, a legendary fashion designer who shaped the wardrobe of socialites and film stars for four decades, has died at the age of 82.
De la Renta passed away at his home in Kent, Connecticut - and while no cause of death has been revealed, he was diagnosed with cancer in 2006. The death yesterday comes less than a month after Amal Alamuddin Clooney wore his dress for her wedding to George Clooney on September 27.
