Mercy Ogbedo, 45, (top) married Nigerian shipping magnate Moses Taiga in a traditional ceremony in 2002. Mrs Ogbedo went on to have two of the billionaire's children and raise them at her home in Finchley, north London.
But, she says, she later learned her husband already had a wife whom he married in 1974. Heartbroken, Mrs Ogbedo was refused maintenance by a divorce judge last year after her husband had their marriage voided in Nigeria. Instead she was ordered to pay £100,000 to her former husband's legal bills. Since splitting up with Mrs Ogbedo, Mr Taiga has ended his 1974 marriage and married a third woman, Yinka Taiga (bottom right) - with whom he has quadruplets. Mrs Ogbedo fight against the Court of Appeal to overturn the ruling she must help pay Mr Taiga's legal bill is ongoing.
