The thief, who was wearing a purple suit and is known only as 'George', took the large Galaxy bar while showing prospective renters around the property in Walthamstow, east London.
However it just so happened that operations manager Jon Charter, 42, was testing new secret security cameras he had bought for his new home - and caught the estate agent in the act.
