Jen Johnson (centre), 26, of Bristol, was emailing soldiers on Forcespenpals.co.uk and started chatting with Lance Corporal Matt Johnson, 29, who was based at Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire.
The couple (above, left) - who were soon messaging each other every day, and met for the first time in June last year - are now married, and Mr Johnson (right) plans to adopt his wife’s 22-month-old daughter Phoebe.
