A year-old baby boy was found in a bush where her mother dumped him. The mother of the baby was alleged to have been left frustrated by her lover suspected to be the father of the child.
According to sources, some passersby picked up the baby after they were attracted by his cry in the bush where his mother dumped him.
At the time of picking up the baby, some insects had already started biting his fingers. The baby had since been taken to the Phase 4 Police Station in Kubwa.
The story was later confirmed by Chief Superintendent Surajudeen Ayobami, the Divisional Police Officer who said that the baby was brought to the station by a Good Samaritan. He also confirmed that the baby is now at the Kubwa General Hospital, where he is currently receiving medical attention.
The DPO also said investigation is currently going on to unravel the mystery surrounding the dumping of the baby boy.
