Two British medical students were stabbed to death in Borneo

Neil Dalton (left) and Aidan Brunger, both 22, both medical students at Newcastle University, are believed to have been attacked as they walked back to a backpackers' lodge after a night out in Kuching, on the Malaysian part of the island of Borneo. The Foreign Office has confirmed it was aware of the deaths of two British nationals in Malaysia. An FCO spokesman said: 'We are providing consular assistance to their families at this difficult time.' Pictured left and right are two of the four local men who were arrested over the killings.
