Liam Whitnell, 31, pictured left, was jailed for 24 years for the murder of Kowshar Hussain, pictured left with his sister Amirun, in 2011.
He died in Stepney, east London, after being attacked with knives by Whitnell and his accomplices. Now Whitnell, who is serving his sentence in Wandsworth prison, has posted photos from prison, showing him on his mobile phone. He even posted a photo of an Avengers birthday cake, pictured inset, which he given by fellow inmates for his 31st birthday. Kowshar's family have now said they are sickened by a system which allows vicious killers to revel in such comforts. Amirun said: 'I had to look at those pictures twice because I thought, “Is that prison?”. It looks like someone’s house. How dare he have an Avengers cake, like he’s some sort of hero. Why does he deserve that?'
