Actor and film director Lord Richard Attenborough dies five days short of his 91st birthday

Lord Attenborough, the elder brother of BBC naturalist and broadcaster Sir David Attenborough, died at lunchtime yesterday, five days short of his 91st birthday.
He appeared in films including Brighton Rock (bottom right), World War Two thriller The Great Escape and later in dinosaur blockbuster Jurassic Park. In March last year, Lord Attenborough moved into Denville Hall care home because of his failing health where his 92-year-old wife, Sheila Sim, was already based. The pair, pictured bottom left who married in 1945 and had three children together.
