The mother (who wrote 'I love all my children except one') battered him to death and told world he was missing

Hundreds searched in January for tragic Mikaeel Kular (inset top right), who lived in Edinburgh, before his body was later found in woodland 25 miles away in Kircaldy, Fife.
His mother Rosdeep Adekoya (main image) reported him missing - but had 'lost her temper' and beat him when he was sick following a trip to a Nando's restaurant. He was left with devastating internal injuries which took two days to kill him. Today it was revealed Mikaeel was returned to his mother's care just five months before she killed him after being taken from her for more than a year. Fife Council has launched a full investigation.
