Man whose nap during baseball game was shown on live broadcast sues for $10M
Andrew Rector, 26, claims to have suffered emotional distress as a result of the words used by the commentators during the telecast from Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.
The camera panned to him during the April 13 against the Red Sox and announcers Dan Schulman and John Kruk discussed how he was 'oblivious' to what was happening at the ballpark. The New Yorker claims he was subjected to an 'unending verbal crusade' both by the commentators and subsequent online comments after the clip was posted on the website of Major League Baseball, who is also listed on the $10 million defamation lawsuit.
