Chen Xia, 26, (left) had been walking back to her home in Yongchuan district in south-western China's Chongqing municipality when she was confronted by the two knife wielding men who demanded that she hand over all the cash she had.
When they realised that she only had small change on her they flew into a rage and stabbed her repeatedly before throwing her off a bridge (her body is pictured).
