At least seven people are dead after a suicide bomber triggered an explosion while football fans were watching the World Cup in Nigeria.
Staff at a hospital in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe state, expect the death toll to rise.
It is believed 15 people are critically injured and more casualties are being admitted to the hospital.
Boko Haram Islamic extremists have targeted football viewing areas and sports bars in recent weeks, killing at least 40 people in two blasts in northern cities.
