Kim Kardashian and Kanye West (centre) smile at each other as she addresses the guests invited to their pre-wedding party at Versailles tonight.
The couple seemed less upbeat (top left) as they left for the lavish celebration. But there was plenty to smile about: the palace, including its famous Hall of Mirrors (bottom left) has been shut off to all but their guests with an honour guard of musketeers and riders dressed as cavalrymen from before the French Revolution greeting the hundreds of friends and family arriving for the party. All the Kardashian clan are there (top right) and the palace was filled with flowers and floodlit for the party (bottom right). But most attention tonight was focused on her remarkable dress, a Maison Martin Margiela white tuxedo jacket apparently held in place by tape - and willpower
