Mother flew to Spain on her daughter's passport...even though they have different skin colour
Sally Nayler, 47, from Benfleet, Essex, was able to catch an Easyjet flight from Southend (inset) to Alicante, despite having accidentally picked up her 17-year-old daughter's passport.
Airport officials failed to notice the mistake despite Ms Nayler being a middle aged white woman and her daughter being a mixed race teenager with an afro. The worried mother was forced to contact the British Consulate after being refused entry to her return flight from Alicante, Spain, just days later. British Consulate staff worked with airline EasyJet to arrange for an emergency passport and a return flight the next day.
