Two women have been arrested by Gardaí in Blanchardstown following the discovery of the body of a man in a flat in Ongar.
Gardaí were called to the apartment at Annaly Gorve at 4 am following reports of a disturbance.
The body of a man in his early 30s was discovered. It is believed he was attacked during a house party at the apartment.
The scene has been preserved pending the arrival of the garda technical bureau and the office of the state pathologist.
Two women in their 30s have been detained and are being questioned under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
