First picture emerges of the lab technician arrested on suspicion of murdering missing chef Claudia Lawrence

North Yorkshire Police have sealed off the house of mental health charity worker Michael Snelling (top) in York and his car has also been seized.
Officers removed bags of evidence, documents and a suitcase (bottom right). They also searched the garden. It also emerged that a different property almost 100 miles away - in North Shields, Tyneside - is also being searched. MailOnline understands it belongs to the suspect's 84-year-old mother. Police made a Crimewatch appeal two months ago showing CCTV footage of a mystery vehicle, believed to be a Ford Focus, outside Claudia's home. Detectives also wanted to trace a 'hugely significant' man in his fifties. Miss Lawrence (bottom left) was last seen five years ago and is believed to have been murdered after vanishing on March 19, 2009.
