The prosecution alleged that the Essex University student had planned the 'perfect murder', killing his 44-year-old mother before impersonating her to allow himself precious time to dispose of her body. But a jury of seven men and five women found him not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility, due to mental health issues. Kalejaiye, who bears a resemblance to the character Norman Bates in Psycho (bottom centre), dressed in pink Primark clothes to move his mother's car to give the impression she had gone to work.
