36 bus passengers burned alive in Palm Sunday horror crash

Forensic experts inspect a passenger bus that slammed into a broken-down truck and burst into flames near the town of Ciudad Isla in the Gulf state of Veracruz

At least 36 people died when a passenger bus slammed into a broken-down truck and burst into flames shortly after midnight in Veracruz, southeastern Mexico, local authorities report. The victims were business people from the region who were travelling from the Tabasco state capital of Veracruz to Mexico City, the state civil defense agency said.
