AIB customers were double charged at ATMs this week as another glitch struck.
Bosses said anyone affected by the blunder on Monday and Tuesday should have had their balances restored by the close of business yesterday.
In a statement the bank said: “Our incident team in currently investigating. There will be full reimbursement to any customer impacted.
“We regret any disruption to our customers. This issue arose after a file of debit card transactions was processed twice in error.
