The girl (left), named locally as Shereka Marsh, was attacked in a house (right) shortly before 4pm in Hackney Wick in East London yesterday.
Three men, two aged 16 and one aged 15, have been taken into custody and are being questioned by detectives. Miss Marsh, who is yet to be formally identified by police, may have been accidentally shot in the neck by her male friend, according to posts on Facebook and Twitter. The teenager was a star pupil at Urswick School in Hackney - and had only last week led the Jamaican High Commissioner on a tour of the institution.
