A 33-year-old man in Oklahoma allegedly killed his stepfather by yanking his underwear up his back and over his head so that the undergarment’s waistband was around his neck.
Records show that Brad Davis was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Pottawatomie County jail on a complaint of the death of his stepfather, Denver St Clair.
Formal charges have not been filed and there was no listing in jail records for a lawyer for Davis.
A 10-page affidavit describes a fight that broke out on December 21 between Davis and Mr St Clair.
The state’s medical examiner said yesterday that the cause of Mr St Clair’s death was blunt force trauma to the head or asphyxia.
