Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a man's body in Clare.
The body of a man in his 60's was found in a rural village near Ballynacally Community centre at around 9.45am.
The deceased man is believed to be from the local area.
The body has been removed to the Limerick Regional Hospital where the deputy state pathologist is due to carry out a post mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
Gardaí in Kilrush are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
