A mother-of-two has told how her husband ended up with her maid of honour – but they are still married six years later as she claims she hasn't been able to afford to divorce him.
Claire Hitchen, from Winsford, Cheshire, said she was left devastated by the betrayal.
The two women, both 32, had met at nursery school as toddlers, and remained friends throughout school and work, staying so close that they even ended up neighbours. 
Claire said Louise was more than just a friend, and she ‘trusted her with my life’.

Although you may think that it a comedy or a prank, it is a real story that happened at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic in Owo, Ondo state.
On her wedding day, Oluwatunmise Adejube, a student of Department of Accountancy, hurriedly left the Owo local government area, where she swore matrimonial oath, and rushed to the school to write an exam.
The Nation reports that the new wife was accompanied by a group of young ladies, who formed her bridal train. They stormed the school in a convoy of three exotic cars.

Govt propose to give €100 conservation grant only to those who pay Irish Water bills



The Government is reported to be considering linking payment of Irish Water bills to the €100 conservation grant.
It would mean that the grant available to everyone who registered for the utility would only be provided to those who pay their bills.
The Irish Times reports the measure is being considered following Eurostat's finding against Ireland on the controversial state utility.
